ÃÂÂÂĉ€šÃ‚¿La inteligencia artificial, enemigo numero 1 del Poker Online?
Excelentes articulos en el EETimes y en el Dallas Morning Tech Blog sobre un problema que se viene al mundo del poker online.
La logica es simple, pese a que la inteligencia artificial todavia no destruye a los jugadores profesionales o expertos del Poker, recuerden el desafio Polaris, en el mundo online la gran mayoria de jugadores son simples amateurs y en ese nicho, el uso de alguno de estos programas por parte de jugadores con ganas de hacer cheats, puede terminar destruyendo el mercado.
Cuando los jugadores son “promedio” y la inteligencia artificial tiene el poder de procesamiento de algunas maquinas nuevas (por ejemplo la nueva Radeon HD4870X2 puede “tomar” carga de procesamiento no reservada a las tarjetas graficas antes) con los chips multicore puede ser una ventaja totalmente injusta en un sitio de poker online.
Y me gusta mucha una frase de Mark Hopkins sobre el tema:

These bots are only going to get better, the hardware that drives them will only improve, and the financial model to incentivize the improvement of both in conjunction will always exist. The US government in all it´s moralistic intent to destroy online gambling might as well let nature run its course, as sooner or later the bots will do it for us.
